Like most of the south almost 2 weeks ago we got a significant amount of snow that closed our schools for 5 days. As if I needed a vacation after the 2 week winter break they just had. Plus I was sick, working, and really didn't want to go outside so they were bouncing off the walls. However we did go out the first day, Monday, Jan. 10th. Here are a few pics of our frigid day.

Looks like a down blanket, too bad it's not warm I'd roll around in it.

This was the last pic I took and then went in to make chicken noodle soup and warm up. I can only enjoy this cold for so long. And my time outside was significantly increased by the presence of a fire.
